- 1900 census shows Peter and Barbara living at #133 Montrose Ave., Brooklyn. There were 7 children, all living, including Theresa who died in 1904, 14 months after her mother which left 7 surviving children after Amalia's (Matilda) birth in 1902.
- Till Renegar: "They say my grandpa had a small grocery store on the beach and also aowned a lot of property so there for he could be with his children.
- He owned a pig named "Kaiser".
He owned a store on the beach in the East Rockaway section of New York City.
