Frank A. Majercin 1910-1993

STREATOR - Frank A. Majercin, 82, of 406 Carriage Lane Estates, Streator, died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday (May 30, 1993) at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Solon Funeral Home, Streator, the Rev. Peter Bolerasky officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Mr. Majercin was born Oct. 19, 1910, in Streator, a son of John and Mary Polachek Majercin.
He married Catherine Benstine Aug. 29, 1931, in Streator. She died March 27.
Surviving are two sons, Frank E., Streator, and Roger, Toluca; two daughters, Loretta Fuller, Fulton, N.Y., and Evelyn Danko, Streator; a sister, Margaret Gaydos, and a brother, Rudy, both of Streator; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A grandson, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Majercin, a resident of Streator all his life, retired from Thatchers Manufacturing in 1972.
He was a member of St. Stephens Church.
