Evelyn E. Cornett (1927-2008)

Evelyn E. Cornett, 81, of Franklin, N.C., formerly of Westville, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a family celebration of her life will be at a later date.

Evelyn was born Jan. 5, 1927, to Michael and Emma Majercin.

Evelyn enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Carl) Roper of Franklin, N.C., and Karla (Mike) Stanis of Georgetown; one son, James (Melinda) Cornett of Oakwood; 10 grandchildren, Catrina, Jessica, Frankie, Travis, Karla, Michele, Kim, Tim, James and Alyssa; and seven great-grandchildren.
