Beatrice E. Majercin (1918-1990)

STREATOR - Beatrice E. Majercin, 71, of Streator, a retired hospital worker, died at 10 a.m. yesterday (Aug. 9, 1990) at St. Mary's Hospital.
Her funeral will be at noon Saturday at Solon Funeral Home, Streator, the Rev. Peter Bolerasky officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Visitation will be for two hours before the service at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 8, 1918, in Thayer, a daughter of Eli and Ethel Sparland Vivian. She married George Majercin. He died in 1972.
Surviving are three sons, George Jr. and Kevin, both of Streator, and David, Tampa, Fla.; three daughters, Marie Majercin and Diane Wilkerson, both of Streator, and Linda Chamberlain, Montgomery; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson and two brothers. Mrs. Majercin retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 1984.
