Sheryl fought a very valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Sheryl was born in Macon, Ga., on March 14, 1971, to Leo Frank Jr. and Carolyn Lowe. Sheryl attended Berry Elementary and graduated in 1989 from Southwest High School in San Diego, where she was very active in the drama department, and played the lead role in many plays and musicals. Shortly after high school, she met her future husband. Five years later, on Nov. 12, 1994, she was married to her lifelong love and soul mate Greg Majercin, and had two beautiful children, Kyra and Zachery. Sheryl was an absolute artist. She could do anything artistically: singing, acting, sewing, painting, and sculpting. You would often hear her sing away at some of the local karaoke pubs. Sheryl was also known around town for discovering hidden treasures in local yard sales and thrift stores. Sheryl found her other love with fashion doll makeovers. She repainted their faces, styled their hair, and designed the outfits and jewelry. Sheryl often sold her one of a kind doll creations on eBay under the name DesignsnDolldreams' and started her own Website to showcase and sell her artwork. You can still see her creations at www.designsndolldreams.com. Sheryl is survived by her husband Gregory; her daughter Kyra; her son Zachery; her mother Carolyn Maresh; and father Roger Maresh of Aransas Pass, Texas; her brother Frank Lowe of Chula Vista; her two sisters Tina Kitzman and Kathy Sanchez, both of Imperial Beach; and her grandmother Alice Croswait of Ridgecrest. Sheryl is also survived by numerous family members and friends. Pastor Cary Norman will preside over the funeral service on Thursday, May 11 at 2 p.m. at the West View Bible Church at 587 Delaware Street in Imperial Beach. A reception will be held afterwards with the details and location to be provided at the funeral service. Cremation will follow at a later date. Sheryl requested that her ashes be scattered in the ocean, where she always loved to be. The family extends its gratitude to San Diego Hospice. Its employees were always considerate to Sheryl's needs and gave her the extra attention that every patient deserves.
