Josephine A. Pouk (1925-2009)

STREATOR ? Josephine A. Pouk, 83, of Streator, died Friday morning, Jan. 23, at St. Mary?s Hospital in Streator.

Private funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Hagi Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Badovsky officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Streator. Private family visitation will be held.

Josephine was born March 31, 1925, in Streator, to John and Agnes (Mayerchin) Pouk.

She was employed at the former Lipton Tea Co., and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, both of Streator. She attended St. Stephen?s grade school in Streator and St. Francis Academy in Joliet.

She is survived by one sister, Grace Pouk, and one brother, John Pouk, both of Streator. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to the donor?s choice.
