Born Jan. 1, 1921 in Streator, he was the son of Andrew P. and Matilda (Lesak) Majerchin. He married Marguerite Vint on Aug. 18, 1951 in Kinsman. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter, Patricia Finke and Lisa Majerchin; sons, Kenneth Majerchin and Kevin Majerchin...; his mother of Streator; and a sister, Rosemary Wilder of Dwight.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Richard.
