STREATOR ? Rudolph J. "Rudy" Majercin, 69, of Streator, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, at his home.
Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Winterrowd Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
Rudy was born May 28, 1944, in Streator, to Rudolph Abraham and Virginia Ruth (Oldenburg) Majercin.
Surviving is daughter, Peggy Sue (Bernie) Kennedy, of Streator; son, Michael Thomas (Kristen) Majercin, of Fredericksburg, Va.; five grandchildren, John, Chris and Ryan Kennedy, of Streator, and Alicia and Meghan Majercin, of Fredericksburg; and three nieces, Tonya, Tara and Tasha.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Majercin.
Rudy attended St. Stephen's Grade School and Streator High School. He retired from Thatcher Glass in 1992 and was a former member of St. Stephen's Church.
Rudy was an avid Cubs fan and pool player, playing with VNEA Pool Leagues.
