Stephen Thomas Majercin, Jr.,69, of Crossett, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 14, 1944 in Streator, Illinois to Stephen Thomas Majercin,Sr., and Mavis Irene Hicks. He retired from Georgia-Pacific Paper Mill Maintenance Department after 33 years of loyal service; and was known as a faithful loving husband, father, and friend. Stephen was also a Christian, who always looked for the best in everyone he knew. He is preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Majercin of Crossett; two daughters, Eva Christine Parrott,and Stephanie Massey (Terry) both of Crossett; four grandchildren, Brooke Massey of Crossett, Logan Gardner of Cook's Town N.J., Taylor Parrott, and Stephen Tyler Parrott both of Crossett; one great grandchild, Gattlin Ryker Felkins of Crossett; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

His remains were cremated, and a memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Medders Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Richard White officaiting.
