Joan A. Hall, 75, of Jamesville, died peacefully and with dignity on Friday in her home with her family by her side. Joan was born in Seneca Falls on June 15, 1936, the daughter of Clement and Matilda Piscitelli (Renegar) and graduated from Mynderse Academy High School in 1954. Joan attended Syracuse University and graduated in 1958. Joan also received a Masters Degree and was a teacher at Syracuse University. Joan was married to Earl N. Hall in November of 1965, and then became a business teacher at Cicero North Syracuse and Liverpool High Schools. She retired from Liverpool High School in 1995.
Joan enjoyed volunteering at Holy Cross Church, caring for the elderly, baking, cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Joan was a very kind, gentle, loving and caring woman who especially treasured traveling with her husband and spending time with family and friends at Henderson Harbor in the summer. Joans family and friends will continue to be inspired by her self-less spirit, strength and courage.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Earl N. Hall. Joan is also survived by her sons, Earl Ray (Colleen) Hall and Kim Christopher Hall; daughter Rebecca Ann (Tom) Cincebox; her beloved grandchildren, Cassidy and Kendra Hall, Thomas, Courtney, Grace and Brooke Cincebox; her mother Matilda Renegar; brothers, Vincent (Nancy), Raymond (Char), and Stanley (Emma) Piscitelli; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 11:30 am Tuesday at Holy Cross Church, 4112 E. Genesee St., DeWitt. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 pm at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
