Robert was born Feb. 2, 1959, to Robert and Frances (Majercin) Uhren in Streator. He was employed by Nexeo Solutions in Knoxville, Tenn., as a lead inventory control coordinator. He loved the outdoors and hiking through the trails of the Smoky Mountains. He also spent many hours volunteering with the Friends of the Smokies Organization. He graduated in 1977 from Mississinewa High School in Gas City, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Uhren; grandparents, Andrew and Alice Uhren; and John M. and Katherine Majercin.

Robert is survived by his mother, Frances Uhren; sister, Amy Uhren; one uncle; and two aunts.
