Frankie was one of the funniest, kind and giving people I ever knew. He would light up a room just by his presence and will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Cathy, David, Sharon and Jeffrey and all of your family in this difficult time. Rest in peace my friend.

You are indeed fortunate if you got to know this remarkable man. His mantra was simple and uncomplicated: helping others without being asked, frowning less and smiling more, forgiving those who just don't know any better. I'm convinced the world would be a better place if all of us put such practices into play every chance we get. Frank Zito would have liked that.

We had just spoke with Frank a short while ago. We are so shocked and very sad to read of his passing. Frank was one of the most funny and friendly guys we knew. We spent many great years in little league together and many great years at Millstone. He always brought a smile to our faces. We will never forget him.

Frankie was definitely one of a kind and will be missed by so many. Chris and I are sorry we can't make it to the wake. We will be thinking of you all during this difficult time.

So heartbroken Frank was very loved by all of us at Oswegatchie Henny Penny. I'm going to miss seeing him everyday, he was one of my favorite customers in the 10 years I've worked there. I'm glad I got to know him the past 10 years. Ill miss him calling me "deary" and "kiddo".Our thoughts and prayers with his family.

You walked me to Kindergarten every day, through the woods behind the Peishoff's house. When I was scared of snakes you carried me and gave me lots of candies and gum. I have been told that one night you were babysitting me, and when my parents came home you were asleep and I was playing on the floor with my toys. I had taken good care of you, covering you with a blanket. I have lots of wonderful memories of you.....many nights of playing cards, you chauffeuring David and I at our wedding, long nights at the Pequot, your visit to our house in Florida......You were the BEST Frankie Zito. You were loved by us all and we all are going to miss you a lot. Rest In Peace Frankie ?

Always one of my favorite people. We grew up on Fishers. His brother Johnny was also one of us. Sorry to hear this news but may God welcome Frankie into his open arms .

Frankie was one of those people who brought smiles, laughter and joy to everyone wherever he was. He was the person everyone wanted to be part of every family gathering or occasion because these times together were made especially joyful and fun by his presence and magnetic personality. Frankie had an indescribable way of causing everyone to love him and as the country song says he is in a better place up there but he has sure left an incredible hole down here. I believe being loved by many is the true sign of a truly meaningful life and Frankie's life was a resounding success because EVERYONE loved him. I personally have vivid memories of how much Frankie's uncle Johns passing years ago was very painful for Frankie and it helps a bit in dealing with the loss of Frankie to know he is now with his beloved uncle John again. Frankie, rest In peace in paradise and know we will always love and miss you until meet again!

Oh how well I remember those days on the dock and on board Goddess. Thinking about Frankie now brings smiles. We were all lucky to have known him . My very best to all his family .

What do I say what can I say l loved my brother from here to the moon . He was the best son ever every day at 8:00 he would come to visit his mother and once in awhile would have a lite beer my brother was one of a kind and I will always love him. Love your mother and sister Mary Anne.

Frank was one of the first people we met moving to Waterford. Living across from him in Laurie's house is a highlight of our 13 years in town. Him frequently barging in needing "help" in the barn led to lots of laughs, stories, and memories. We affectionately called him the "mayor" because he knew everyone, and everyone knew him. Over time, we got to know the wonderful family he raised, his amazing wife and children, and his amazing grand-kids. We are so sorry for your loss, but he will be in our memories forever for how he welcomed us to "his" town. Godspeed Frank!

My husband and I met Frank about 20 years ago. We spent many of his grandchildren's birthdays together. My husband and him would talk and be sarcastic together. Going to miss seeing you Frank. Heaven has so many angels now. Be sarcastic with my husband. To the Zito family I send my condolences and my love to all of you.

He wasn't just my Father in-law he was my dad. I was blessed when I married into the Zito family. The love he showed me and my daughter was full hearted. He made sure from day one to make us feel loved and wanted.
He always was there with a helping hand or advice now he have a angel up in heaven to help us get threw life without him.
