Interesting to note two things: (1) Location. This family was only based in Streator. Odd that the child was born in Gary.
(2) The mother, Agnes Majerchin had a son, Joseph in March, 1919. That child died a few weeks later. John is the second child she gave birth to that year.
(3) In 1923, she name another son John.
