Catherine F. Pouk (1925-2006)
STREATOR - Catherine F. Pouk, 81, of Streator, died Thursday afternoon, Aug. 31, at Hopedale Nursing Home in Hopedale, Ill.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Hagi Funeral Home in Streator with the Rev. Larry Booze officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Streator. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
Mrs. Pouk was born March 25, 1925, in Streator, to Joseph and Frances (Guzzo) Minneci. She married Louis Pouk on April 8, 1947, in Streator. He died Jan. 19, 1999.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Streator and attended Streator High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie (James) Callahan of Stanford and Cathy (Richard) Freeman of Princeton; a son, Tom (Kathy) of Morris; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Minneci of Streator.
Pallbearers will be Tom Pouk, James and Devin Callahan, John Minneci, Richard Freeman, Paul Zabel and Bob Mitchell.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
