DUBOIS, of 59 Lydia Ave., a former teacher, died Tuesday in Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn S. (Ester) Dubois. Born on Feb. 2, 1932, in Woonsocket, a son of the late Wilfred J. and Lena (Rathier) Dubois, he lived in Woonsocket all his life. He taught in the Woonsocket school system for 31 years, retiring in 1985. He taught at Hope Street & McFee Schools. He graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1950, and received a bachelor's degree from the University of West Alabama in Livingston, and a master's degree in elementary administration from Boston University in 1957. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Thomas J. Dubois of Woonsocket; three daughters, Andrea J. Dubois of Woonsocket, Susan B. Dubois of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Jennifer L. Bennett of South Kingstown; a sister, Irene Mattera of Warwick; and two granddaughters. The funeral was private. Cremation took place yesterday. Providence Journal (RI) - Friday, December 22, 2000
