William P Greene

William P. Greene, 53, of Cheshire, beloved husband of Cynthia Crist Greene, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday July 23, 2015. Born in Providence, RI on January 6, 1962, he was the son of the late Theodore and Helen Dio Greene. Bill grew up in Smithfield, RI. 

He was a graduate of University of Connecticut, where he earned his BA in accounting. He worked with his wife as an accountant at Cynthia A. Greene CPA of Cheshire. Bill served with pride and honor in the US Army Reserves for 14 years. 

Bill's family was everything to him. He loved traveling with them. Fishing, hiking and camping in the White Mountains of New Hampshire brought him great joy. He also liked to garden, go cruising, frequent trips to Disney World, and working on major building projects for his wife and daughters. Bill enjoyed working out, helping the girls with their studies and was a big Boston Celtics fan. In addition, he spent countless hours with his 3 cats, Fluffy, Mitz, and Tiger, and his dog, Fawn, at home. But what he really loved the most is watching his daughters compete in sporting event. He was a big presence and will be greatly missed. 

Besides his wife Cynthia of 20 years, he is survived by his two cherished daughters, Ariel and Jasmine. Three brothers, Joseph Greene and his wife Linda of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Theodore Greene and his wife Helen of Oviedo, Florida and Ed Greene and his wife Valerie of Talpa, Texas. As well as many nieces and nephews.
