Lucille E. Shawback (1923-2005)

TOLUCA - Lucille E. Shawback, 82, of Streator, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 14, at the ASTA Toluca Care Center.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Church in Streator with the Rev. Eugene Radosevich officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Streator. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Solon, Baker & Telford Funeral Home in Streator.
Mrs. Shawback was born July 19, 1923, in Streator, to Andrew and Anna (Salata) Katchmar. She married Walter W. Shawback on Feb. 8, 1964, at St. Stephen's Church. He died April 14, 1999.
She worked for the Lipton Tea Company and was a member of St. Stephen's Church, the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by a brother, Alvin (Loretta) Katchmar of Streator. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Raymond Katchmar.
Memorials may be directed St. Stephen's School.
