Inez Vera

PACHECO
Inez Pacheco, 74, passed away on May 24, 2010. She was born on January 21, 1936 in New York, New York to Antonio and Maria (Olivero) Vera. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army. Inez was president of the PTA at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, worked as a coach with Padre Little Miss Kisckball League and as a substitute teacher for St. Joseph's Jr. High School. She received her Associates Degree from Del Mar College in Business Administration and then returned to college at the age of 50 and received a Bachelor's of Nursing Degree from Corpus Christi State University in 1991. She had worked at Sears Department Store, Schwinn Bicycle Shop, Neonate Unit of Driscoll Children's Hospital, medical transcriptionist, teacher's assistant at Del Mar College Nursing Program, instructor at Palomar Education Services CNA Program, and was a member of the H2U Hula Troop.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Michael R. Pacheco; daughters, Erica (Samuel) Houx of Pahoa, Hawaii, Frances (Arno) Pacheco- Ouwehand of The Netherlands; sons, Michael (Maureen) Pacheco of Denver, Colorado, Rick Pacheco of San Antonio, Texas, Ray Pacheco of San Diego, California; granddaughter Jennifer Murrelli of Denver, Colorado; great grandson, Timothy Unruh, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Maria L. Vera of Yonkers, New York, Carmella (Armand) Provencher of Dunbarton, New Hampshire; brother, Anthony (Cindy) Vera of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
